Our old gravity stand looked similar but had to be replaced after 20 years of use. I doubt this new one will last a year. The vertical tube is ok but when I unpacked it there was a big dent on the bent part. However, the two bike racks are very fragile, easily bend and sag on the heavy side of our bikes. This design has a single bolt that tightens on the vertical tube to hold the bike tube in place, which I broke in half trying to tighten the bolt. Provide some balance for the bike. It's easy to make, but I'm assuming they won't last long as not only do they spread easily, they also sag? Another problem is the overall height. Photos with two bikes on the rack should be teen sized as two full size adult bikes will overlap even if the bottom wheels are only 4 inches off the ground and the other rack is on top of the tube. And forget to use them if you have bike racks. It might be fine for small road bikes that don't have anything on it, but both of our hybrids require the wheels to be rotated and the handlebars to be carefully tucked into the spokes to fit. Search for something bigger and stronger.
