installed them. worked fine for a while. then my son learned to climb over it. After that I bought Evenflo bamboo gates and installed them in the doors. I still used this gate but my son tore it apart. now it's hardly possible. My kids were tearing apart the crappy rectangular gates so I bought the bamboo gates for a bit more and they work pretty well. I liked the door feature on this gate but it didn't last long. It was difficult to install and reposition every time we used the door. So we just used it as a regular gate and just climb over it while my 1 year old easily climbs over it if I don't put a level gate on it. Having said that, I don't recommend this gate at all. it doesn't last long, maybe longer if your kids don't hit him
