Good tent but overpriced and needs new pegs

Good tent overall. Works well in the rain, lightweight but definitely overpriced. There are other hot tents of similar if not better quality and workmanship that come at a better price and with fewer downsides. The biggest drawback are the cheap aluminum pegs. Pegs bend and break incredibly easily. I tripped over one and broke it in half. Also, the pegs are straight, without the "hooks" at the top that would normally anchor a tent to the ground. Instead, the tent simply slips off the pegs in any wind. There's little to do to hammer the pins into place. So when you hammer the pins you run the risk of breaking/bending them unless you hammer them VERY gently. I bent beyond repair/broke 3 pins on first use. terrible technique. You also need to buy your own hot tent jack from them if you want to use the wood stove inside the tent, which costs an additional $22. The total cost is about $200. Pros: The tent is light, waterproof and made of good material. Not bulky. easy to take with you when travelling. (Fixed an issue that caused the entrance to the inner tent to be directly across from the wood stove. Cons: Poor engineering. The tent detaches from the pegs and the pegs bend and break easily. High price. Does not come with a Jack (sold separately) OneTigris recommendation: Invest in better quality tent pegs Include a jack in the price of the tent Buyer recommendation: Purchase lightweight but strong tent pegs separately Know that you will need to invest around $35-40 to make them this product 5 stars after buying this tent (pegs and jack)
