This was used to replace the stock thermostat on a 2003 Nissan Altima S Automatic with approximately 180,000 miles on it. THERMOSTAT STANT 14678 is supplied with the required gasket. Your old gasket is swollen and almost impossible to reinstall once you've ripped the radiator line off the thermostat housing, so replace it! Expect to collect at least 3-4 liters of coolant. It's not hard to do, just can be messy and requires an environmentally conscious approach. Keep children and pets away from the coolant!
