Good product, not disappointed.

Excellent balanced UPC camera NIkon with 35 mm matrix. Despite some of the shortcomings described above, I definitely recommend the camera for purchase. Suitable for most shooting scenes, except for active reporting and filming in extreme conditions. For everything else, a great tool for both the professional and the advanced amateur. I was especially pleased with the color rendition, as I saw the pictures of the vaunted fuji with its color, and so the Z5 has a clean and even color (everything is as it should), in fuji it is clearly skewed for all sorts of films, this is not for everyone.

Pros

I bought it on the first day of sales on August 24 in Nikon Plaza, I was the first buyer. The camera body is very similar to the nikon z6 and z7, comfortable grip. 2 SD memory card slots. Excellent matrix and color reproduction directly in JPG. I have Nikon d3s with its vaunted matrix and color reproduction, Nikon z5 has a more interesting color. The skin color of the faces is definitely better on the Z5. I shot and compared with Z6, their matrices are different, z6 copes with noise a little better, but the color of z5 is better. The z6 color is somewhat similar to the nikon d800, while the z5 is more similar to the color reproduction of the d750 but better. Excellent autofocus, misses have become many times less. Very quiet mechanical shutter, you don't even have to use an electronic one. Focus stacking with the ability to shoot in RAW. Excellent compatibility with old Nikon AFS lenses, I was very pleased with autofocus, but you still need to get used to the logic of focusing.

Cons

Wireless shooting via wifi is not very convenient. The included strap is narrow and not comfortable (I will change it), it catches stripes from the flickering of artificial lighting in rooms when shooting in silent mode with an electronic shutter with a mechanical shutter, there are no such problems. Flashes and synchronizers do not work with electronic shutter, but they do not work in almost all UPC cameras except Sony a9. Long wake up from sleep and long turn on, DSLRs are faster. Difficulty focusing in low light, such as when shooting in nightclubs. Also, when focusing in the dark, EVI can freeze. A separate AF illuminator is needed, since the AF illuminator on the camera body is almost always blocked by lenses and lens hoods. The swivel screen does not have large rotation angles and there is no way to rotate the screen for taking selfies. At the time of writing this review October 2022, there is no camera support in capture one.
