I am happy with this purchase. Came whole. I'm only using one at the moment and it works perfectly. It's getting as hot as it should be. I will update this review if he dies within a year or anything else happens. The digital thermometer is a nice little bonus when bathing my iguana. UPDATED: Purchased in April. The first heating element I used was dead at the end of May. Not so lucky anymore. Still like the digital thermometer. Re-Update: Customer Support reads the review! Yes they do, and that's great. They decided to fix the situation and it's amazing to me. (They emailed me many times before reaching me, more effort than I expected.) Most stores don't bother to verify or reply to reviews, so I'm very happy with this one gesture and will try their products again.
