A beautiful light carpet. I love it! I ordered it in 6ft round size. It's ivory, handwoven in India, 100% cotton (no synthetic materials or weird chemicals), quite thick, with nice bright colors: green, blue, yellow, pink, orange, red, deep purple, brown, some black (not much) . My four year old daughter has a rainbow theme in her bedroom and this rug was perfect. It has the variety of colors I wanted, but not so bright that it's overwhelming (ivory is the predominant color). My daughter loves the spiral patterns and colors. It looks great on wooden floors and will look great in any room (office, kitchen, dining room, living room). We have already received many compliments on this. No weird smells - not sure what the other reviewer had in mind. It was handcrafted in India, tightly wrapped in plastic all the way from there - it might have had a *slight* musty smell to begin with, but it was very minimal and was gone within an hour. (I also don't expect things to be 100% odor free.) Most synthetic rugs have a terrible chemical smell and a plastic backing - this one doesn't (it's not synthetic) and can be reversed for longer wear. Easy to care for: vacuum gently (without a whisk in the vacuum cleaner or simply with a nozzle without a brush). We love it! I have never ordered rug online as I usually find it best to buy rugs and furniture, curtains etc from a store so you know exactly what you are buying, if it is comfortable etc. But that was just it, what I wanted. I've searched and haven't found anything comparable on the market. I am very happy with our purchase! Great price too. Nuloom makes a good product! Love the rustic, artsy, and fun look of this rug! Universal.
