do not try it at home

Tape #M is the thickest tape I have ever seen. I've only used it on flat surfaces around my car as scuff guards on the underside of the doors and trunk lid. It worked great in those areas, but I wouldn't recommend it for areas with bumps and indentations. I tried using the same 3M that was precut into the front bumper and couldn't get it to mold around all the bumps and dips. I even read the instructions and watched videos before trying it.
