I bought this mirror for my son's friend who just went to college. Before we bought it, we went to the store so she could see it in person. She didn't want anything very big since her dormitory doesn't have much space. The mirror is the perfect size for her. If this was a home vanity I might consider a plug to save on batteries, but for those with limited space and outlets this is perfect! The only thing that puts it down a star is that it's nowhere near as bright as the others we've looked at. It doesn't bother the teenager I bought it for, but if you have vision problems I'm not sure it matters. Overall this is a really solid mirror, unlike others we've looked at. It does not tip over easily and increases. :) She is very happy with the mirror and I'm happy about that.
