I love this mirror! It was exactly as described. I don't have a lot of space on my dressing table so this fits in nicely. In the photo I have the light at maximum. I definitely recommend this product.

The light on this mirror is too weak. I posted a picture of it next to my old Conair mirror (you can see why I ordered a new one) and you can see the other light is much brighter. Just spend a little more for the best, it won't make a cut.

I had a previous model that lasted 10 years and was plugged in. It was inconvenient to order lightbulbs online, but they were solid, HIGH and BRIGHT! This new version sucks! It's just a battery, they say you never need to change a lightbulb, and it's short! You have to bend over like a hunchback to even look in the mirror. The lighting is absolutely anemic! So weak, and it flickers and then goes out...repeatedly! Such a poorly made item.

All I can say positively about this product is that it is a mirror. The dimensions are too small to comfortably see your entire face. The light is extremely bad. I need to bring a lighted mirror to an existing sconce to see well enough to apply makeup. Also, the magnification looks weak. I don't see any small eyebrow hairs that need plucking, although I could see the same thickness on my old mirror. I definitely like this article - in concept. It was supposed to be everything I needed, mainly to help me apply my makeup and still see more clearly. However, the light is rather weak. Nothing worth mentioning, especially with better batteries. And what strikes me the most is that I have a defect where the light stays on even when it switches to "OFF" mode. I bought this mirror for my son's friend who just went to college. Before we bought it, we went to the store so she could see it in person. She didn't want anything very big since her dormitory doesn't have much space. The mirror is the perfect size for her. If this was a home vanity I might consider a plug to save on batteries, but for those with limited space and outlets this is perfect! The only thing that puts it down a star is that it's nowhere near as bright as the others we've looked at.

I have had this mirror for a little over a year. I bought this to replace a similar model I had (also from Conair) that plugged into an outlet rather than batteries.
