I don't understand the hostile reviews of it being falsely advertised as ARMv8 when it's "really" v7. The reason why it shows as v7 when running system information tools is because it runs in v7 mode since the software cannot run it in v8 mode. I *think* it's because it's a 64-bit chip that only runs on a 32-bit OS, but I can't remember exactly. There is documentation on the RPi website explaining this and I also pulled out a number stamped right on the chip itself which is exactly what they said they sold us all. There is no baiting, spoofing or false advertising here. The Pi itself is great. I have the original B+ and this thing in Raspbian is about it; it is MUCH faster. I started learning Python through the GPIO pins, and as silly as it may sound, it's really cool when you can type something and watch the LED light up. Even the simplest programming is a lot of fun for you, I hope I learn a lot while playing around with it. My first Pi was just used for Kodi/XBMC and now for PiHole so this time I'm trying to learn a little coding. Bluetooth is a nice touch for wireless input. Be sure to use a quality power adapter AND cable. The little flash will tell you when it's not, and I've also found that if the flash appears on screen you'll also lose power until the voltage is high enough. These things are great fun with tons of support for a normal price, go for it!
