The lamp initially worked well. About a month after I bought it, it started making that high-pitched electrical noise that rendered it almost useless unless you wanted to annoy yourself and end up with a migraine. I temporarily solved the problem by replacing the detachable wall plug. The call dropped and the lamp seemed to work normally for a while before stopping altogether. The touch power button also has "pores", as if the plastic in this area were melting from the inside. The lampshade on the lamp itself is also quite unstable, easily knocked over compared to other lamps with the same lampshade that I have. Danger with all electrical problems. Great idea for a lamp style, terrible execution.
