This classic red Radio Flyer Van takes me back a good 65 years to the van I had on the farm. It was my favorite car as a kid and you won't believe how versatile it was for me growing up! Now, at the age of over 70, I bought this station wagon. For what reason? I wanted something that would allow me to transport salt blocks for my water softener from my car to the lower level of my house so I could easily take garden garbage bags (heavy and bulky) to the curb for collection around town and carry heavy items I no longer use can easily wear and serve to keep me in my own home for as long as possible. I looked at all types of handcarts, both at Revain and the local hypermarkets, and the cost and the fact that most of them had inflatable tires told me I didn't want to make life any harder than it was is. This van is built like a battleship! When I assembled this van I really giggled with joy! My inner child has come back to life!
