The design has potential but is poorly done.
Send back. Some of the plastic straps were deformed, preventing the headgear from adjusting evenly. I was hoping that this updated head would be an improvement over the V1 4 strap head that came with my Viking 3350. This original head piece could never be properly adjusted to my head as it didn't always want to move forward. on my forehead. This new updated version didn't stand a chance as the plastic straps on the top band had permanent deformation possibly from squeezing in storage and it couldn't fit properly. So I went back and ordered a "simplified" traditional KP4100-1 3 strap headgear from one of the cheaper Lincoln helmets and now the helmet is great as a replacement helmet. However, Optrel is a real solution.
