Randall Hurd. BEST HELMET DESIGN 2021

This is an excellent headwear item. This is the most durable and functional comfortable helmet system I have. It was not fitted to a Lincoln helmet and will fit most other helmets. I am ordering many more for Savephase and other helmets. The best helmet design I've ever seen.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Wrinkled Pack

A bit expensive.

It's a bit pricey for a hat, but it's one of the most comfortable hats I've ever used. The only small issue I had was the bottom seam on the back pad tore the first day of use, it may have been on a shelf for too long but I have 2 other shells that need a head piece and I will use this one use one in them.

Pros
  • Easy Fit
Cons
  • Transparency

A very practical upgrade.

I used this to replace the headgear that was in my viking helmet. The original had a hard pad on the back, and it only took about 10 minutes to "feel" it. This is softly padded and adapts to my head much better. I turned down a launch because I don't think it should cost as much as it costs. Also, I see that the new Viking bonnets come with this headgear.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost never

Poor/cheap quality good for head protection

Cheap product. I bought it as a gift and broke it in less than a week with minor use. The cocking knob is completely broken off, as are the side windows (which broke off on the FIRST day of use). Very disappointed with the quality and very disappointed with the delivery. It was supposed to arrive on February 14 for Valentine's Day but didn't receive it until March. Terrible overall experience.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Repair

Sets the bar for comfort. Even if you wear it all day.

I ripped the pull handle off the back of my 3350 and had to replace the whole thing. I didn't like this part, but it's surprisingly cheap, especially for a Lincoln that overpriced everything else in its product catalog, but that's another review. In fact, they did a great job on this design and if you own a Viking you know this piece is comfortable to wear all day and adjusts enough to fit even all of us welders with weird funky faces.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • Some trouble

Completely broke in less than 2 weeks!

The plastic strap broke after a week and a half of use. I was able to put it back together and it worked for a few more days, but after today it broke completely. The cheap plastic knob holding the tensioner in place has come loose from the retaining flange. I was able to carefully put it back in and use it. Today it fell apart for the second time and the mounting sleeve broke. This hat is very comfortable and with a name like Lincoln I would have thought it would be of better quality but after

The design has potential but is poorly done.

Send back. Some of the plastic straps were deformed, preventing the headgear from adjusting evenly. I was hoping that this updated head would be an improvement over the V1 4 strap head that came with my Viking 3350. This original head piece could never be properly adjusted to my head as it didn't always want to move forward. on my forehead. This new updated version didn't stand a chance as the plastic straps on the top band had permanent deformation possibly from squeezing in storage and it…

  • There are other interesting options.

Works perfect! in Welding Helmets

My wife is a dental hygienist and face shields are required due to her job and COVID-19 protective gear. Due to a shortage of face shields, a piece of clear plastic was supplied, about the thickness of a sheet of paper, to which a strap and foam block were glued. Needless to say, this was uncomfortable and she also had to wear a hat, which made her feel hot. Another thing is that dental loupes could not be worn since the shield was close to the face. I used a skid plate in a design that I…
