The best tracing paper under $10 - well done Bakhmor!

The bottom line is that this paper is of very good quality, especially in this price range. You won't find anything better for less than $10 (key point). If you are looking for thick paper then this product is not for you. You need to buy something in the $15-$20 range. The transparency of the paper is the same, unlike Strathmore, Canson, Bienfang or any other paper in this lower price range. The level of transparency is comparable to much more expensive brands, however this paper is significantly thinner which is quite normal for a budget paper. The overall quality of the paper reminds me of the high quality "vegetable" parchment you used in the 70's and 80's before almost all companies discontinued or discounted their products to make their products cheaper so the quality suffered badly Has. various pencils, felt-tip pens and even ink applied with a brush. All materials fit well on paper. The paper is not wrinkled by pen/brush and ink (this is a very good sign and indicates good paper quality). The only comment I can make is that the paper is a bit flimsy, but that's perfectly acceptable for a cheaper paper. It's not very thin, but it's very different from the thick $15-20 tracing paper. I bought this product because I was looking for an inexpensive option compared to the expensive and thicker tracing paper I use for my art. I took a risk and was rewarded. I am impressed with this product and if you know me that is saying a lot. I am a professional artist with over 40 years of experience. I have tried many products over the years. I know what is good and what is not. The product damage reviews may be true, but I haven't experienced it. I ordered two pads. Both pads were wrapped in protective cellophane by the manufacturer which is a good sign and unlike any budget brand, Strathmore, Canson or Bienfang. Cellophane wraps are usually reserved for the highest quality brands. The company may have been aware of the corruption issue and made this solution in response. Try it. I think you will be just as happy as me. At least you only spent about $5. And if you're unsatisfied, Revain will take it back, or the manufacturer will most likely honor their quality guarantee. (And no, I wasn't paid or encouraged to write this review. I think companies that do a good job should be commended.)
