Review on DVC Micro Lined Replacement Kit for IROBOT Roomba 600 Series by Kelli Palmer

I was pleased with the price of these replacement parts but was concerned as some of the reviews were very critical of theirs Quality. I hope this analysis helps buyers adapt these filters to their robot vacuums. I have a Roomba 600 series and the brushes fit perfectly - no problem. However, none of the three filters are suitable. They were all offset slightly, but that was enough to keep the dust box from snapping back into the Roomba's case. I did a little experiment. In the first photo you can see the sizes are slightly different - the replacement (bright white) is slightly too big. This was true for all three filters. I was able to shrink it down a bit, but it wasn't enough. He pulled out and carefully compared the old to the new - see the second photo. You will see that there is a slight discrepancy in how the side lugs are trimmed. The original (right) has a more pronounced U-shape, while the replacement is a more slanted line. I took a pair of pliers and bit off a piece of the tongue on both sides where I point the arrow. Now the filters will fit completely and the bin will snap back into place. I'm giving 4 stars because it eventually fits, but I had to work on it.
