More difficult than some, but worth it

This is a good option. I collect them and even sell the ones that are much larger than these. You just have to be careful when drawing pieces, especially A-6. If it breaks, don't panic because it's one of two extra pieces. If the other 148 break I can't find a way to order additional parts from the UK. I've also used Froglube, a form of wax instead of their wax (which is awful). This turns these wooden gears. Once assembled, please pay attention to the combination knob that turns like an old school lock, left 2 times and right once and back to the third digit in the combination code. I had two front knobs that would break if the gears weren't waxed enough and used a lot. So I added extra glue when assembling the handle, which is the huge part that drives the main gears. Even if you break the handle, don't panic. Just stick it on and switch off the main lock. Then it still opens manually and closes normally. It's getting too much to enter the castle every time someone wants to enter the box. The 2 rear keys engage each gear, turn it in the opposite direction and the box opens, lifts and opens its flaps. Rings and jewels are kept in this secret place. There is also a hidden compartment at the top. look at my photos I will say the gears in this box are amazing but just keep them waxed. There are 3 different sets of gears, each with a different job. I also stained mine with the furniture stain market.

Cons
  • There are flaws
