Too good to be true

Seemed like a great idea. With the laser light, you can cut all the Christmas wrapping paper perfectly! I opened the battery compartment to remove the protective cover and FLASH! 2 small batteries fly out and the wire that appears to turn the laser on is completely disconnected. Big. Khabs then tries to fix the wire by soldering it back, but no. There is no worker. So I have some fancy scissors that are actually non-returnable because we tried to fix them. At least they cut.
