They work well for computers and accessories
Works well for me, fast on USB3, although I find your range for wireless keyboards and mice decreases significantly if you use USB3 for anything. These seem to be more reliable for getting all the bits right when writing SD cards for Raspberry Pi and other similar things where every bit counts. I put this on a hub I received from Amazon with switches to turn it off when not in use to allow my keyboards and mice to work across the room and not within 2ft - it's not just this item, it's most USB3 devices that don't work. No special care should be taken with the RF shield (which by definition has large holes).
