I bought this cheap, quiet alternative as my other mechanical keyboard I use has cherry blues, which despite my great love for them is incredibly loud. This HyperX FPS Pro is compact, durable and functional. Here is my short list of pros and cons in my POV as someone who has about 6 mechanical keyboards. Pros: True Cherry MX Reds, not Outemu, Kailh or Gaterons Braided and detachable USB cable Media keys (FN+F5-F8) Metal top plate Not noticeable like some gaming keyboards. Switchable red LEDs. Keyless design (I prefer this option at home because it saves desk space and gives a more natural position). Cons: Keycaps are very cheap. I replaced them even before I connected the keyboard. The bottom of the keyboard is actually made of plastic, while the top is a thin metal plate. (although it still seems solid enough) Conclusion: I give 4/5 stars for the cheap keycaps and the fact that it's advertised as a metal keyboard despite the fact that the bottom is plastic. The top plate is metal but very thin. However, the keycaps can be replaced with standard Cherry MX feet. but to get a good set you will spend at least another 20-30$ (iKBC is decent at Revain too)
