All round easy to read time with the added bonus of temp. I don't have to press a button or fight the ugly blue light you see on many modern backlit watches. Good brightness range with dimmer and always on. I can see it from across the room without glasses. Haven't used the alarm clock yet, but I'm pretty sure it works fine. The alarm clock has volume and snooze function. Dimmer. The body size is a little bigger than I wanted but ok. Batteries are for emergency power only. You should always use the supplied USB/AC plug. In general I am satisfied.
