Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.
I work with them at weddings, paired with 5D and 580EX. Good as a reportage lens. And the wide angle is quite enough, and the range is good. Very satisfied, almost everything can be removed from them. And a portrait, and a collective photo, and gets it from afar. By and large, it replaces 2 or even three simple lenses. I like its versatility and at the same time the quality of the picture. This is his main advantage.
Pros
- Versatile lens. 28-300 is enough for almost everything, and the aperture ratio is very good. Paired with a flash, you can shoot in full range. Different modes: autofocus switching 0.7 - unlimited. and from 2.5m to infinity. Two stabilizer modes. Protected from dust / moisture.
Cons
- Definitely weight. But what do you want, there is glass, not plastic. It's L.
