Works better than Sport Dogs Bark Control Collar

I have been buying Sport Dogs Bark Control Collars for $100 or more for several years now. They all stop working after about 12-24 months and also cause bedsores if not rotated several times a day. After reading the reviews I decided to try this set of 2. It currently works better with our corgis than with sporting dogs. Every time they bark at a medium volume, it makes crazy beeps, vibrates, and then gives a gentle correction. It STOP them! I'm amazed A highly rated athletic dog (my most persistent) would either bark through corrective slaps and ignore it OR squeak like it was being killed until it stopped for 30 seconds and "won" before it had time to calm down (there was no beeping or vibration ) the other girl would be afraid of the correction hit, the others would ignore it and eventually shut up (corgi can be so stubborn!). My worst offender howls, starts squeaking, and stays calm, licks her nose to calm herself and remind herself to stay calm - she can still sing and talk a little - just not bark all the time. It also made her less reactive, if another dog barked she would be ready to start a fight. Now when she starts barking they correct the beeps and vibrations and she calms down to the point of electrocuting her so there hasn't been a fight since these collars were put on. I'm actually quite incredulous at how well this works. (Trained dogs semi-professional almost all his life). The second collar is not noticeable and is slightly smaller. I have this with an older puppy who doesn't need a shock but needs help with his excited barking. She has also calmed down a lot. At the moment we have 3 days of battery life and they're still working, 1 of the days it rained and the grass was very wet - I didn't notice them disconnecting/shorting out due to moisture (which Sport Dog has been doing since then that's how corgis run). briefly on wet grass). I also didn't notice other dogs barking which caused it like every other brand I've tried. One of my corgis is very naughty and if one of them was wearing a collar and this dog wasn't, she would run up to him and bark loudly right next to his neck, intentionally upsetting him. She does it every day - no coincidence - she absolutely got it. That didn't happen with this new one. I think it's because she can hear all the beeps. .IMPROVEMENTS I would recommend: Dollar Store collar with plastic buckle doesn't adjust and fit well, stripes look cheap. I prefer a dark hard collar with a real buckle for better adjustment. I have taken dog sport collars and put them on - they work great. The device comes with 2 charging cables, with a round end to connect the collar and a USB end, apparently this is the very low voltage that the collars require. The instructions state NOT to use any other faster charging methods or they may short out the collar. The squares are NOT included - only a low voltage cable to connect to the square. So you have to have your own squares (kind of a pain as we never have enough so we have to buy more) I order the type that holds 2 USB cables. I am ordering 2 more stun collars separately. If I can use each of them for a year, I'll be happy. Not sure if getting a warranty pack is worth it as they get dirty and dirty over time and I doubt it's covered. Also, with all the noise and vibration they create, they don't have to be as tight as sporting dogs, so they don't get bruises. Anyhow, I'll update this over time if any negatives come up. Fingers crossed they hold up just as well as they did the first week. Very impressed so far - by an e-collar dog snob whose training collars range from $100 to $400. I also ordered their 3 dog remote trainer. Once I use it a few times I will review it separately.
