Works well. It's harder to braid a tight braid with thin hair.
I wanted to learn how to do a french braid but couldn't figure out how to do it with two hands. This tool really helps, but my daughter has thin hair and doesn't seem to be able to hold it tight enough for a really secure braid. It's fine for everyday braiding, but perhaps with practice, it will make a worthy challenge to her workout at the gym.
