Wrong original length, didn't fit
It was a few inches shorter than my old part. At first I thought it would work, but it doesn't. The problem is that it interferes with the twist lock on the gun. If you push up to move it out of the blocking path, the reel will remain unlocked. This allows the wind to rotate the awning as you move. Not good. As a workaround I had to twist my arms.
