Perfect. No, but I bought a monitor without a VESA mount. I didn't realize this was a deal breaker until I switched to a multipurpose table and needed to maximize the available table space. What makes this mount awesome is that it adds a VESA mount for a fraction of the cost of a new monitor. Installing on such a setup option is absolutely fantastic. In doing so, I encountered two problems. To avoid the first problem of loosening external hardware, I'd buy your own screws or use some sort of lightweight threadlocker. The second problem you might have is that the monitor can get shaky over the years. That's because the monitor wasn't built for the constant adjustments and movements that an adjustable arm allowed me. The good news is that this can be fixed. In my case I googled two rails and found two loose screws inside the monitor.
