The extra RAM extended the life of my wife's laptop
My wife complained that her laptop was "slow" and getting worse and worse. I got an SSD and replaced its 4GB RAM with these DIMMs to upgrade to 16GB RAM, now your computer is screaming. (Yes, most of the improvements were due to the SSD, but the RAM allows it to boot with all the useless crappy programs it loves to use already loaded and just running)
