I have been using the RCC7 5 stage reverse osmosis system for almost 6 years. It was very reliable and with the TDS iSpring gauge it was very easy to monitor the performance of the filters. During that time I have not had a single close issue with any of these replacement filters. And you learn a few things over the years like colder water is harder and that increases water hardness so you can see an increase both before and after a reverse osmosis system. As long as RO reduces TDS to about 10 percent of the incoming water, you're fine. I usually change filters at the recommended intervals before I see a big change in TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) reading, although a few times I forgot and checked the reading when I got back from a long trip and it was about time for a change it was. If you forgot how to replace them and the procedure, please update the information on YouTube or 123filter.com. When changing the filter, it is also useful to use one of the plastic keys to open and close the large filter canister. Also, please DO NOT overtighten when resealing the containers with new filters. It doesn't have to be very tight, it needs padding and it will be an ABSOLUTE bear to pull back later. I would like to thank Nick at iSpring Support for the great help with support issues and questions.
