I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

I'm trudging like a boa constrictor after upgrading from AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Brisbane AM2. Bought for 1800 OEM. In terms of performance, it overtook its predecessor by 15-20% in nominal terms, and taking into account a slight overclocking, by all 30%. It seems to me that there are simply no competitors for such a price. AMD Athlon II X3 425, unfortunately, is much more expensive, and AMD Athlon II X2 245 and 250 are the same, but in a different wrapper and therefore more expensive; AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ previous generation, hotter, slower and even more expensive; The Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6300 is slightly more expensive. Recommended for upgrading older systems and entry-level systems. Naturally, if you need super performance, you need to look for something more powerful. PS. I put it on the motherboard AM2 +, after flashing the BIOS. Works great.

Pros
  • Good performance in the lower price segment; OOOOchen, shamelessly low price! low heat dissipation (at idle 25-30, under load OCCT maximum 40C and this is with the not very expensive Cooler Master Hyper TX 2 cooler)
Cons
  • only supports DDR2 up to 800Mhz, and DDR3 1066Mhz. Therefore, if you have a memory like mine DDR2 1066Mhz, then it will not work at standard frequencies.
