I have used the original FF on other car frames in the past that were too far removed from the regular primer. I wear it twice a year and it has never let me down. The frame of my current truck was primed by the previous owner. It failed and fell into a water capsule, leaving the frame in terrible shape. I didn't know there was a black tinted FF so I bought it to try. After descaling and prepping the frame, I used an HVLP spray gun to apply the product. difference between day and night. Much of the thick coating around the wheel arches washed away leaving a thin layer of paint on my frame. I am pleased to see how long these products last, especially during WNY's wonderful winters.
