There is no window in my home office. I bought it to control my CO2 levels. Most of the time, if I keep the door open, the CO2 levels drop to normal levels. If I had a conference call and kept the door closed for an hour, it becomes an unhealthy level. After another 10 minutes of opening the door, it drops to the normal range. The first one I have won't let me switch to Celsius mode. (I got so used to Celsius growing up abroad.) So I contacted the register and saw if there were any hidden settings for it. The seller offers me an exchange and immediate delivery. Excellent customer service. This model has a built in battery so I can just unplug it and bring it to my bedroom without having to grab an AC adapter or worry about losing settings (Celsius, data and time). The build quality is good. The only thing that could be improved is that the beeper is too loud for home use. But since it only beeps when any settings are changed, it doesn't matter.
