I had bought my jeep from a family friend for almost a year and the key they gave me didn't have a key hook; it was broken. So I had no choice but to walk around with the key like my life depended on it, although I've lost it a couple of times too. Finally, someone suggested a solution with buying a cover / case. I have to say that I am satisfied with this purchase. It took a bit of effort and my brother's help to put my key in the case, but it fits perfectly and I no longer have to worry about my car key slipping around!
