Great Epoxy Patch in Bathtub Faucet Replacement Parts

I used a bath and tile repair kit to repair a lot of minor damage to my 30 year old solid resin bath tub/shower insert. My bathtub is white but slightly discolored with age and use. I didn't bother with the colour, just used the product straight from the pack. The product is basically an opaque white two-part epoxy with highly concentrated colorants for color matching if required. I followed the instructions exactly and it was easy to use. I applied the mixed product with the included popsicle stick, then wiped off and let dry to use again. The deepest damage required 2 applications, which I did about 10 hours apart. I flattened them out as much as possible while they were wet and then sanded them down after 24 hours. The repair was about 2 weeks before this review. The patches hold well, don't come out and are almost invisible. I am very pleased as the use in my home was a test run to renovate a new porcelain bathtub on our investment property which was damaged by a careless tiler. I would destroy a $4,000 job to replace this tub and I believe this $20 product will do the job. I almost used a similar product from Home Depot that cost $20 for a tiny disposable and it was the liquid that I was concerned about. This product is easily ten times the size, so it's useful for many projects, and there's no need to mix everything up at once like Home Depot's smaller product. So far very satisfied.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Useless Features
