97 E-150 needs patience and little fingers
Used as a direct replacement for the rear passenger door of the 97 E-150 used. The original plastic and broke at the same time. They seem to be of excellent quality and I hope I never have to install them again. It took about 2 hours for 2 people. You need patience and someone with small fingers. To do this I did not remove the latch as it was difficult to unhook the lock and drive. There really is no video on how to do it. The long one goes up and somehow has to fold back to the end to attach it to the license plate latch, while the short one is lighter and goes to the inside latch. Take a deep breath and it can happen to you.
- A pair of wires as in the photo (a long wire connects the middle latch to the lower latch and a short wire connects the inside door handle to the middle latch)
