This thermometer is too long to be used in a work kitchen. And don't get me started with ergonomics. You either use two hands to operate it, or your thumb (natural placement) covers the display while operating the buttons. Then comes the alignment of the display on the probe. It seems 1.) centered on the right 2.) hard to read unless it's perpendicular to the target (e.g. a loaf of bread should be almost halfway through the oven). Finally, unlike my Lavatools Javelin PRO Duo Ambidextrous Instant Read Backlit Digital Meat Thermometer (Indigo), the PT09 is very slow. Wouldn't recommend it.
