60 years ago we had these swimming caps at school. It's very comfortable and the gusset on the edge keeps my hair almost dry. This is a large size and my favorite swim cap as it doesn't pull on my hair. Unfortunately the strap, which I like because it prevents the hat from coming undone, has very hard buttons. Therefore, it is very difficult to loosen the strap. When I wanted to take off my cap after 4 swimming sessions, the button flew off the cap. Now I can't find it with the main strap. I remember our school swim caps with much stiffer straps. My hat has lasted many years. Luckily I haven't pierced it with my fingernail yet unlike a regular swim cap which is smooth. I would have given 5 stars if my aging hands weren't so heavy opening the buttons.
