My husband is older and I read his problems even with glasses, so I hoped this would help him somehow. It's not like this. When I tried this on myself before he started doing this, I found that it couldn't read text unless it was printed in large black on a white page next to a window. This gave me lots of error messages regarding text and sveta The volume is not loud enough for us older people. Also, when reading text with the typewriter, I found that it read too fast and mispronounced the words. really wanted it to work. I'm sending it back via UPS according to the manufacturer's instructions, but I'm wondering if I should send it insured with an RR request. I hope that doesn't cause any problems.
