Excellently balanced and comfortable to use

I have a desk that I can sit or stand at so I wanted something I could sit at a lower height while standing or crouch/lean on. So far I am very happy with this chair. Pros: The tilt function feels very natural and stable. I was afraid it would look like the stool would slide, but I'm standing on laminate flooring and it wouldn't move an inch unless I wanted it to. In fact, I found I had to lift it off the ground to move it forward or backward. The height adjustment is smooth and the adjustment ring under the seat doesn't matter if I pull it with my left or right hand. The balance of this stool is wonderful. Its design seems to lower the center of gravity a bit. While I'm sure it's not recommended, I've found that I can sit on it upright, cross-legged, dangle or fold my legs and not feel off balance (leaning forward makes it less stable and I need both legs). on the ground. I don't recommend leaning back.) The rotation is smooth and silent for all 360 degrees. It was very easy to assemble by yourself in about 5 minutes. but it may soften over time. The height adjustment pinches a bit when I'm seated, which helps offset the seat a bit. The high seat canopy lets me lean forward to counteract back tilt when I'm just sitting. This is less noticeable when bending forward. The rubber ring on the bottom of the stool makes a slight squeaking noise when leaning forward, which I probably hear when I'm in online meetings. Overall I'm very satisfied and have recommended it to others although I bought it on sale and now I see it's more than double what I paid for.
