Terrible setup problems. I have Android 7.0 on a Galaxy S8 and the Vizio app which SHOULD be used for the initial setup hangs when I try to connect to Wi-Fi. I tried different ways to get it working but this is the only way to get it working. Start resetting the device by holding down the volume up and bluetooth buttons for about 10 seconds, then press the pinhole reset button next to the power button. Restart your phone and then turn on Crave Go. Open the Vizio SmartCast app and start the connection process. If it hangs on the Wi-Fi connection screen, click Skip, name the device and complete the setup. The SmartCast app reports that the installation was successful. Now turn off Crave Go and restart your phone. If you turn them back on, you can edit CraveGo in Google Home and connect to a group, or select Crave Go in any other Chromecasting app. However, you cannot use all the features of the SmartCast app with Crave Go as it is still not recognized as connected.
