Review on ☕️ KitchenAid Blade Coffee and Spice Grinder Combo Pack - Onyx Black: The Perfect Grinding Solution for Your Kitchen by Jessica Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great concept, bad technology.

I really like the concept of separate grinders for coffee and spices, that's why I give this product 2 stars instead of 1. I've had this grinder for a little over 3 months, I use it once on average Day and just had to replace it. The grinding jars are supported by gears made of a rubber material that simply wears out and turns to powder over time. I've only used it to grind coffee and oatmeal, so I don't think I put too much strain on the machine. Very disappointed with this purchase Good: - grinds well when new - coffee grinder mug is big enough to grind enough for a 14 cup coffee maker - nice to have separate mugs for grinding coffee and spices Bad: - very noisy - a bit heavy Grinding cups got on the gears, but the machine won't start grinding until they're properly seated, so I don't think it's a big problem. I assumed in hindsight that this helped the gears turn to powder. Bad: - The gears that the cups rest on are made of soft material. Not durable at all. - quite expensive to wear out in less than 4 months
