A must have for replacing the A-pillars on a 2005 Dodge Dakota. By the way: Old sockets should be burned out. DO NOT OVERHEAT YOUR FOREARM! Center the burner on the hub on the side instead of heating the control lever on top. After the rubber burns out, I knock out the remnants of the bolt in the middle (I cut mine with a jigsaw and a metal blade). Then knock out the remains of the body of the old bushing. If it doesn't move, CAREFULLY cut off the flanged side of the bushing (do not cut or score the control lever) and then bend the bushing toward you. By reducing the diameter of the socket body, it could be pushed out immediately. Before installing these new ones, take the kick wheel on your dremel and clean the bushing track in the control arm. This will make installation much easier. DO NOT drag the control lever. The bushing needs to be pressed in, so ask, borrow or buy the right tools - the right tool for the right job.
