Be sure to buy when replacing racks!

Removing the old struts will probably ruin the old bushings, so you really need them. Watch a few YouTube videos and decide if you have the tools and mechanical skills before you begin.

Works great on shocks, struts and suspension

I ordered these because of the horror stories I've read about old bushings and bolts sticking. Of course my old ones were a nightmare to remove and unusable once I removed them. These new ones squeezed in and worked great.

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • Small things

Fits snugly and had to use all the washers to tighten properly. Be sure to pull out the old one; it will cost you an eye. Trust me on that; I used drill and fire to remove it. The bolt got stuck in an existing bushing that had to be demolished.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Wonderful mount. The best in shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Excellent replacement kit. When you remove the steering knuckles there is a chance that this bolt will rust on the center bushing in the rubber mount and it can be difficult to get it out. If you buy them in advance, you can afford to practice with them while you work. It can be frustrating and tough, but really should switch when changing struts.

Don't buy this junk

These things didn't even last a year. absolute rubbish. Yes, I dressed her right, yes I have the right look. But hey what can I do about it, they got my money and gave a cheap aftermarket product but the description says it's a better product than OEM. You're wasting your time taking the old one off and replacing it with this cheap, overpriced product. And you spend your hard earned money tuning up your truck and a year later the ball joint looks in terrible shape and your truck repair was a…

A piece of the cake. like

Bought for a 2006 Dodge Ram 4wd. I've changed bushings/bearings like this in the past but never had this much trouble getting the old ones out. Aries are notorious for putting bolts in stock and mine was no exception. I had to cut off the old screws with a saw. The socket was completely stuck in the forearm, but with the help of a saw, drill and hammer again it was removed. The old ones completely destroyed, but there was no other way out. After the control lever was sanded slightly, a large…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Hard to tell

A must have for replacing the A-pillars on a 2005 Dodge Dakota. By the way: Old sockets should be burned out. DO NOT OVERHEAT YOUR FOREARM! Center the burner on the hub on the side instead of heating the control lever on top. After the rubber burns out, I knock out the remnants of the bolt in the middle (I cut mine with a jigsaw and a metal blade). Then knock out the remains of the body of the old bushing. If it doesn't move, CAREFULLY cut off the flanged side of the bushing (do not cut or…
