It's really strong, but yeah, it's not enough. It has a metal D-ring on one end and a metal clasp on the other, and a very strong zipper on the side. It comfortably fits a couple of credit cards or a driver's license, a few dollars, and loose change. Maybe lipstick too. Very easy to attach to your bag giving your items easy access instead of bottom fishing. It's really beautiful and well made.
