I bought this item because some others bought it as a cheap alternative to "Stealers". than 15 minutes. The car is economical and driven sparingly (less than 100 miles per month) and is mainly used by friends visiting the city. Today, a month after purchase, I drove the car and we have nice weather in Southern California, so I decided to roll the window halfway up; worked fine. Went to roll back, nothing. I called Revain about this and they will send a replacement and return label (Prime Perk) free of charge, but now the car is in the garage with the window half down and our Mercedes is out in the elements waiting for a replacement. (I know OH NO! LOL) I would give this item a 5 star rating if it didn't fail and I will return to that rating once the replacement is installed with some use. The quality of the present item is perfect again, the mechanisms are great, the only problem is the motor, so buyers should pay attention. It may just be a coincidence and I have a faulty motor but I assume there will be some sort of quality control on motors used under load rather than just testing to make sure it works. Engine failure in less than a dozen uses is poor quality control. In any case.
