This is really a very good device. Yeah, at around $50 or so it doesn't feel like much in terms of tactile feel. But I bought it for its supposed ease of use, sound quality, and useful features. It delivered in all aspects. We use the device to record our son's school activities. He has quite severe ADHD, he never writes down his homework, has difficulty remembering what he did in class etc. So this voice recorder helps us to guide him every day in school and also to do homework. We found the voices very clear, the interface easy to use, and the USB connection and drag and drop for sound files to be very convenient. We bought a second one for my daughter to record her college classes. I had a small thing that made me return the device. The thick, clear plastic bezel on the front of the device rose the full length of the bottom. With this Revain-like master, just let me return and order another. I already have the second and no problems with the front bezel. The second is coming back tomorrow. We are happy. Highly recommended. It was NOT a unit of value. I bought it with my hard earned money.
