If you use ratchet straps these soft loop extenders are a good accessory. Ratchet straps have metal hooks on the ends. Sometimes I wear something for fear the hooks will scratch it. I would use these soft weight loop extenders instead of hooks to avoid damage. Extension cords have loops on both ends. Simply wrap the loop at one end (form a slip knot) around the object you wish to secure and attach the ratchet strap to the loop at the other end. These soft hinge extensions are rated to support 700 pounds, which is enough for furniture. , dirt bikes, ATVs, etc. It would be safer to use multiple soft loop extensions, each attached at different points to distribute the load. The quality seems to be on par with a typical ratchet strap. It comes with six stainless steel carabiners, but they feel a little flimsy and will no doubt flex under load. The hooks on the ratchet straps are definitely stronger. I would recommend using carabiners only when necessary. I would feel more secure if I put my ratchet strap hook directly onto the loop of the soft loop extender. All in all, this is a good accessory at a very reasonable price.
