I needed this to control water pressure and save hot water in my apartment. I attached it to the shower head. The lever is easy to adjust while showering. My apartment has a small water heater and there were no water pressure controls in the shower. This way my hot water runs at full pressure and barely lasts 5 minutes. With this valve I can reduce the water pressure or even temporarily stop the water supply without having to regulate the temperature again. Now I can get hot water for over 20 minutes with this simple solution. Matched my bronze shower head very well.
