I replaced the reversing lights with them on an '08 Subaru Outback and was happy with the improvement. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because they cause radio interference. (The degree depends on the station) I've tried tackling this with iron chokes but it didn't work. At least the reverse lights don't stay on all the time like reverse/parking lights, so I can live with a bit of static when reversing in exchange for the bright light they produce. I'll edit this review if they fail unexpectedly, but they've been running for a few months now with no functional issues. EDIT: 6/25/19 More than six months and no new issues. I should add that it might be worth noting that the radio antenna for the 05-09 Legacy/Outback station wagons is embedded in the rear window just above the reverse lights. This *could* be a factor in the radio interference problem we had. Again, I can live with some noise when reversing. YMMV.EDIT: 04/05/2020 It's been over a year now and these headlights are fine. Nothing has changed compared to previous reports. EDIT: 9/12/2021 Still working fine. Nothing new to report.
