So our cat is pretty quick and can dodge if it doesn't vibrate when touched. She is a very fragile, very mobile girl and it is almost impossible to save her. At first my partner and I struggled to get her in and my partner hadn't fully attached the ropes behind her and she was able to slip out the first time. But on the second try, they actually tried to attach it, and it stayed. The poor little one wasn't happy with us, she was super comfortable, but to be honest she's just a fat cat so it can't be the product.
